I have to admit, I was really weary of this whole "prestige" label after playing the one locally, but good lord this one plays devine! (and that is with no real "setup" just new strings and a cleanup
)

I'm going to have to rethink the idea of the floyd rose tremolo although now I'm stuck for ideas on tremolo arms---any suggestions?

Now I am going to try this one again.

It is the middle one on the top row. What sort of modifications are needed to go from fixed bridge to floating bridge?

If it has a strat-type tremolo with springs already then some additional routing will be needed but not a completely undo-able by any means. If its a fixed as in string-thru or stop-tail with tone pros (tune-o-matic) style bridge then alot of work! Still it is do-able, then also the nut area will have to be cut/routed to accomodate the locking-nut which is fairly simple mate. A Kahler system might be a better bet if its a stop-tail or string-thru job since they feel alot different than a Floyd job and the roller system does not cause as much unwanted string flop or tightening when going for it with the bartrimph1 wrote:Now I am going to try this one again.

scarface is a bust, I didn't realize there was a fatal crack in the at the heel...how it got there is beyond me but it's the way it is. I guess I wait until I have some extra cash and buy a warmoth body, meanwhile I'll decide which guitar gets the benefit of Micky Thompson Black-out
