hi,
i am searching for a very simple music composing tool.. maybe a small keyboard or a piano roll function to create fast ideas and record them... maybe with a metronome too.. best would be to be able to export all as midi and send it to an email-adress.

If you didnt find out already....
I use Xewton Music Studio on my iPhone. Jailbreaking it will make things much easier to transfer the MIDI.
However, at one point all my iphone MIDI and project files suddenly dissapeared. I dont know why. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but assume this deleted them rather than salvaged them.

Xewton Music Studio has really caught my eye, coffeefox. Do you use any sound addons? How do you purchase them?coffeefox wrote:If you didnt find out already....

Nope, no need for add-ons (in my experience). The standard soundset is enough for sketching out the ideas you need. The editing tools are a bit tricky without any physical buttons. Then you finish them off on the desktop later.
ITunes (unfortuantely), 15 US dollars i believe.
