I have online filled in a support requests, e-mailed info, support, Christian, Lizenzen and had no rsponse.
It's very frustrating when you don't even get a respose to say we are looking at your request.
I have registered on there forum during the fire-sale. I didn't even get an e-mail confirmation regarding my account and access details.
I can't access there forum. It says my e-mail is registered. I then try to request a password (how many times)? I don't get an e-mail from them.
These guys can't be serious about bussiness and support. I'm about to send there software to the Recycle bin. This is what I hate about software making use of lisenses, wheather it is dongles or request authorization codes, IT SUCKS.
I just upgraded to Windows 7 and oh boy am I going through the emotions to re-register most of these software and the biggest concern, what if these guys does not exist next year, then I'm stuffed.
With a Dongle, you can at least use it till it breaks one day.
YellowTools, funny enough says under my e-linceses I have 3 lisences. I installed it once and it says I can't reregister because I reached my limit of installations.
YES, they've got my money and support(i don't know for how long) from this side...................

for everyone else DO NOT BUY YELLOW TOOLS...after quite a bit of problems and them not shipping my product it came in a beat up box (I do have pics) barely taped and it's a miracle the dongle didn't fall out. It took me quite a while to get my product, when I did their solution was to give me a second license for my troubles...provided of course I bought a second dongle from them.

Has anyone here purchased the 99 euro special
majestic/candy/culture
I see it didn't expire Oct 15-- but these guys are horrendous in getting back to anybody, even when we are talking making a sale.
bizarre --all these FireSales makes me think they are about to crash and burn!

It must be and old version. Yellow tools got rid of the dongle a while ago.Hink wrote:for everyone else DO NOT BUY YELLOW TOOLS...after quite a bit of problems and them not shipping my product it came in a beat up box (I do have pics) barely taped and it's a miracle the dongle didn't fall out. I am not supporting them by any means, but you would have been crazy to pass up the firesale they had. Yes its true their customer service sucks, but for what I got from their library for $175 bucks shipped internationally, it rivals that of $500-$1000 libraries. Really great sounds here, including a very useable and deep orchestra.
Its probably true they are going to be closing doors soon, but sheesh, I can fend for myself most of the time. Only time I find this ever being a problem would be if I needed more authorization keys, but I have 4 left for each product, since they gave me 5 to start, so I'll be good for awhile.
Point is, great library. shitty service. I personally have been able to see past it because I really love using the lib.

Still no reply from YT support. So basically I have a product that I can't use because I have no authorizations left due to OS re-installs and building a new computer.

The rather quiet alarms that YT set off, when I was researching it in order to decide whether to buy in on their big deal this summer, have become screamingly loud over the past few months.
They seem to be able to send out emails to all of their users offering different great bundle deals every month. And they seem to be able to take the money quite competently.
But they don't seem to be able to provide any support whatsoever, or to talk in their forum about what might be going on, or to put anything up on their site's front page that doesn't have to do with a sale.
Before zombywoof and a few others came along, I didn't know that it was so difficult to be allowed to post in their forum. The forum is essentially dead, and I'm not going to be surprised if that's at least in part because they're (deliberately?) making it harder for dissatisfied customers to post lately.
I know that we here sometimes go off with all sorts of wild theories and half-cocked accusations.
But this is increasingly looking to me like a couple of people that are planning to extract as much cash as they can from unsuspecting customers and then disappear late one night with it all.
I'd love to hear otherwise, of course, because their samples do sound fantastic, and I find myself still wanting to acquire them... Especially considering the great prices.

There are shades of Crysonic to this scenario.....
Anyway as a last resort I just fired off an e-mail to Best Service who were the company I bought the product from originally when the Firesale was happening. I also expressed my concern to them about the lack of support and that there was a groundswell of rumour going on about the well-being of Yellow Tools and that maybe it was a "take the money and run" Firesale. Hopefully I will get a reply from Best Service tomorrow.
Cheers

I received a prompt reply from Best Service and my message has been forwarded to technical support, Best Service support I presume. Although apparently Best Service are moving office at the moment so there could be a delay in getting a response. I'm not quite sure what their relationship with Yellow Tools is other than being a distributor but I have a feeling they are tied in with them quite closely. We'll have to see what happens.
