Hi Dean!

I'm fine. Life is as usual a gigantic shit sandwich but you know me... I take my bite and I smile.

My wallet, however, is another story.
I know the feeling. My newest guitar was a real stretch and put me out of the "afford" category temporarily.

Speaking of cars, i need to pass my driving test (I can drive just fine, except not legally) and then i will have to buy some wheels. Probably get an old VW Golf, preferably a turbo diesel model and as long as the stereo is ok i can live with anything (have to consider the safety due to kids mind which is a big factor. Otherwise i would buy a death trap no doubt) 27 and without a car - that is shameful

Yeah, luckily money isn't one of our problems for now. I know one thing about girls... I'm much happier when she's happy and if buying her something nice is all it takes, I consider myself lucky. At least she's more interested in video games than handbags and shoes.

Not at all. I'm 27 and if I could go without a car I would. Trouble is, you cannot live in LA without a car. I'd ride my bike everywhere if I weren't so f**king sick all the time.

Hell, I was 35 before I got my license. Reason being I lived in London where we had bike paths and such--I could bike ANYWHERE!! Now, living 2 miles out of the mighty metropolis of Atwood(pop 1500) one needs these things

A HUGE part of the US is that way. LA for example has A TON of public transit, but it's really hard to use it properly!

On topic:

I decided to break my fast...

I bought Discord 3, Replicant 1.5 (I guess I sold my license for Replicant at some point ) and Aalto.

I gave up driving for most of the 90's, back when I was a hard-core vegan/eco warrior. :hihi: I cycled everywhere for years ... but i moved out to the sticks 10 years ago, and it's almost impossible to manage without a vehicle. I drive a nice big motorbike these days. Never passed my test in a car ...

Nice wheels, my younger Sister has had alot of bikes but, her last one which IIRC was a big honda model black and chrone thing either 650 or 750cc (again IIRC) traded it in for a corsa eventually. I am not into them myself due to the fact i would come off one and break my arms and/or hands and without them i would be stuffed! :scared: but i can see the appeal for sure mate

hibidy Replicant is an awesome FSU device for peanuts really and will take you into madness/mangling if that is what you are after, do not think you can go wrong with that one :)

Devin townsend pretty much summed up my failed marriage/nut job ex-wife with Strapping Young Lad on the album 'Alien' (Dev is also Canadian hibidy fwiw/another of my 'why canada is technical metal heaven' reasons):

I'm always amazed at people who can afford the insurance on those. There are an awful lot of kamakazi biker around here......they are all very very young. I thought it was nearly impossible to get insurance on those......is that a myth?

Your not thinking of a Harley are you hibidy? More cat pictures if you are ;)
