Aalto sounds good to my ears and looks fun to use with a good GUI. As soft synths go it gets a :tu: from me. Will attempt to bully a synth wiz friend into picking up a license Mwah ha ha. Thanks for the link :)

That aalto looks good. maxs out the cpu though.the developer is working on that though

It's a great introduction to 'west coast' style synthesis. I really like the resonator section and the flexibility of the oscillator. The oscillator can come pretty close to what my Hertz Donut oscillator sounds like but not quite as gritty. The Lopass Gate sounds great with the AR envelope triggering it. The reverb doesn't really do anything for me but that's okay.

Seriously that is what i did up until around 4 months ago when a friend donated a Korg K49 controller to me :oops: but true :hihi: To be fair he got alot of pedals off of me in exchange that i never used ;)

I had a bit of a relapse...
I bought Ivory Grand Piano's 2....

2c Audio's Aether

and

Zebra 2.5

......

and I was drooling over Origin's Desktop synth (which can also be used as a midi controller! I mean come on! its two for the price of one! Nevermind the price is $3k....so you're really saving money, amiright?)

Tomorrow is Payday! :D :D :D

What to do, what to do! Should I:

- Upgrade Alchemy Player to the full version
- Get a table so I can put my MPK49 right next to my laptop
- Get a 2-tier keyboard stand in preparation for a second keyboard
- Get a software modular/semi-modular synth
- Buy more orchestral Acid loops and drum loops
- Pick up an EWI USB
- Say sod all this music stuff and get trashed at the strip club :hihi: :hihi:
