Ace is not unique because it's a modular synth.

I think it might be unique because its currently the only modular that allows audio signals to be properly patched as anywhere in its signal path. Isnt it?

IMO KarmaFX did it better

Does it actually do that? I think not.

I suppose it's in how you look at it. Any Generator can be patched to the audio input then patched into whatever you like and it comes with a separate FX version.
