I'm working on the x64 VST right now. Once this basic port is debugged (GUI issues right now, for some strange reason), I will revisit the preset code that is in the OSX VST version. Mind you, it isn't very fancy - just some support for built-in presets, with the host taking care of the rest of the presets.

Glad that works for you. I would also suggest using a tape echo plugin of your choice in front of ValhallaShimmer. A little bit of random modulation and tape saturation emulation is good in front of almost any reverb.

Anyone is having problems keeping the parameters the way they were in the last save, in Ableton Live? It seems for me it doesn't remember the parameters and every time I open my set the params are always back to default. Same thing if I save the preset in Live. The solution for me right now is to write down the params... Whats up with that??

Looking forward for the preset support!

Which version and which platform? (i.e. VST/AU, Win/OSX)

Send me a PM or email with your email address (I know you're a customer, but it is hard to match forum identities to customer names). I'm working on a solution, and will recruit you in testing it.

It is worth noting that I removed the presets from the Windows 1.0.1 build for the issues you are having (the problems you are finding saving plugin state are linked to the presets). Removing the presets isn't a good long term solution, obviously. Audio Units and RTAS work fine without built-in presets, as there is a single main place that the hosts look into for presets, but there is no such single location for VSTs.

Hi Sean

Just tested the demo, and i think this 45sec fade aren't really the best demo limit in reverb. You play something, and you get great vibe and then, the reverb fades out. 45sec is so short time

Maybe total use time to 5min or 10min, and then the plugin "dies". You have to reload it or something, anyway..

I have couple FR, if you don't mind.

1. Plugin steal space button in my FL. If i put in FL wrapper section "don't allow keyboard focus", i lose mousewheel support. And i don't want it!! So, if you can, can you make it not steal the keyboard focus, especially space button?

2. Double click on knobs = reset it to default value

Sound is good, price is good. Really tempting, but i already own eos. Need to thinking more

The plugin's price is perfectly sensible and your concern about others' potential usage of it is not a sensible factor to base it on.

Blimey, how could I have missed this one until now?

Think I heard one of the first demos and thought it was .. well ... a shimmer effect..

But tried the windows demo now and the reverb rocks.

Been searching for a good long time for something just like this. Normally can't get enough reverb on some things and the standard hall simulations etc don't always do it, even when tweaked out. Was thinking to get Aether to supplement my VSS4 with ott stuff, but I think this will do nicely.

CPU usage is very good and price makes it like already said a no-brainer. I like the no-frills graphics too.

"Not getting enough reverb" isn't a problem you'll have with this plugin.

Loading up any H.G. Fortune synths and 2 or 3 instances of Vallhalla and instant deep ambient bliss, love it..
