I still havent found a reply about the randomizer which is a thing Markus does at its best imo. If its included also in ElectraX i cant see a single reason why that synth shouldnt be on my daw.
Yes, there is a randomiser! :)

I don't know how the one in Gladiator works, as I never used it. The one in ElectraX has various starting points for specific type of sounds, as well as a generic start point. However, I haven't tried this feature, so can't comment anymore than that .

Bollocks, this may well be something I have to buy - the randomizer in Gladiator was fantastic, actually producing usable results.

It kinda has both, as it has the wave import, and the sampler module.
Not sure exactly what sample formats it imports, but I'm sure wav, and aif would be good enough.
pdxindy wrote:If you can do audio rate modulations and it uses little cpu, are there quality settings so one can render at a higher quality?
I was wondering the same thing.
It would be an extra useful feature for sure.

Can't wait to check out a demo of this.
Really looks interesting imo.

Wow!! That is an amazing synth... It just magically makes presets and nobody has to spend any time at all making them... Seems like that is gonna put you sound designers out of business! :-o :o :-o

I will definitely get it if just the barest thought and a new preset just appears ready on the track and it is exactly what I hadn't even yet thought I wanted!

Of course it will take the same amount of time to program 4 separate patches than it will to program 4 layers..............

Single cycles are also .wavs...............Depends on what the Sampler module can load. I imagine something like a full on Choir sound with some HCM Arps in the background etc.........

Well, yes, and it was sarcastic at best. No need for such 'tone' in a conversation.
Oh geez... don't get sanctimonious now... you called me silly cause I made a suggestion of getting Kore...
Stop misrepresenting the flow of our conversation! It wasn't about Kore!
It was re the layers in ElectraX and your workflow in Live. Please read carefully. Your reply was silly and sarcastic, something I wasn't expecting from you:

I thought of you as one of the more level headed and wise contributors to KVR conversations. It appears to me that my conversation with you is now done. Thank you.
You are a patient man Himalaya, i would have banned him loong time ago
Everybody cries for more.... and when they get more they crie for less :?
Sometimes i really don't get it

This...
Sample playback and import of own samples with loop/sustain loop support
Wavetables with resynthesis function and the ability to load own waveforms
Samples and Wavetables
You can use ElectraX' sample oscillator to import your own waves, a quick import option is available to create custom patches or vocoder sounds based on your own samples with a mouse click.
ElectraX ships with a large selection of licensed wave content, including morphable analog and digital wave types.
In addition to this you can automatically resynthesize your own waveforms from samples or import custom wavetables.
It seems a little confusing, as I'm not certain about these features.
Wonder when a demo will be available for mac osx though.

It's a shit feature, agreed. The only benefit I can see is it can lead to a whole lot of exaggerated marketing hype. For example-
Four synthesizers in one interface
Umm... no, actually it's not four synths in one interface. It's just one synth.

Albino followed this path, having four "layers" (or whatever). I never found a use for 80 oscillators in a patch, personally... And continue to use Albino 2, which looks prettier anyway.

I initally got confused about this as well. My initial though was that it was Firebird (for OS X finally), Gladiator and two previously unknown synths.
But now when I know better - I don't mind it. I look forward to this release - will certainly buy it and will make sounds for it. Never felt love for Gladiator though, but this one feels damn interesting.

Well many people like it, so it's good to include it.
