I still havent found a reply about the randomizer which is a thing Markus does at its best imo. If its included also in ElectraX i cant see a single reason why that synth shouldnt be on my daw.

I don't know how the one in Gladiator works, as I never used it. The one in ElectraX has various starting points for specific type of sounds, as well as a generic start point. However, I haven't tried this feature, so can't comment anymore than that .

Bollocks, this may well be something I have to buy - the randomizer in Gladiator was fantastic, actually producing usable results.

Hmmmm single cycle waves only? I'd much prefer full multisample soundsets such as Wusikstation employs or sfz support.

Wow!! That is an amazing synth... It just magically makes presets and nobody has to spend any time at all making them... Seems like that is gonna put you sound designers out of business!

I will definitely get it if just the barest thought and a new preset just appears ready on the track and it is exactly what I hadn't even yet thought I wanted!

Of course it will take the same amount of time to program 4 separate patches than it will to program 4 layers..............

It seems a little confusing, as I'm not certain about these features.

I agree with the opinion that multiple synths in one is not an attractive feature.

It's a shit feature, agreed. The only benefit I can see is it can lead to a whole lot of exaggerated marketing hype. For example-

Albino followed this path, having four "layers" (or whatever). I never found a use for 80 oscillators in a patch, personally... And continue to use Albino 2, which looks prettier anyway.

I initally got confused about this as well. My initial though was that it was Firebird (for OS X finally), Gladiator and two previously unknown synths.
But now when I know better - I don't mind it. I look forward to this release - will certainly buy it and will make sounds for it. Never felt love for Gladiator though, but this one feels damn interesting.
