Hi,

Did someone tested or used it ? Do you like the tube stage ?

Just curious as I've no time at the moment for testing new plugs.

The author is known for giving Synthmaker modules a fancy GUI and selling them as his own "pro" plugins. Judge for yourself, but I'd avoid it like the plague on pure principle.

Sad :(. I don't like that behaviour too.

Nowhere as good as Variety of Sound (SynthMaker wise) stuff then.

Lol... Waves called... they want their SSL G-EQ gui back...

If you can't resist, Minimal Systems sell their 'complete' collection on CD ROM on Ebay for about £2.

No they don't. :x Doesn't it look dodgy to you? :P Just some git on eBay making a quick buck by selling someone else's product and even having the cheek to say that Minimal Systems will offer support!! I checked with Paul Willocks at Minimal Systems who confirmed that he does not sell via eBay. Don't support thieves!!

No honor among thieves then? :hihi:

The idea that the GUI looks really similar is kind of interesting--just plain ol' weird :?

Really? The Ebay seller ID is 'paul_willocks' and a google search of the email address he used to receive Paypal payment leads to a DeviantArt profile for PAULW, which has a subtitle of 'Minimal Systems' and has numerous links to www.minimalsystem.com

This post from the official Minimal System twitter links to the same DeviantArt profile, bringing it full circle:

"@abduzeedo Hi I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at some of my work for your inspiration feature www.paulw.deviantart.com 12:42 AM Apr 23rd via web in reply to abduzeedo"

If it's a guy ripping-off someone else, they've gone to extraordinary lengths to look convincing - to earn £2 (minus costs!) at a time.

So it's rather obvious then that he does sell through ebay.

very bizzare. why would anyone go to the trouble with the website and everything else to peddle the crap that he peddles?

every thread he he's giving BS about his special alogrithms but as soon as someone calls him on the basic SM modules that he uses he disappears from the thread. anyone remember the reverb he "released"? .... that was a funny one.

to answer the OP - steer well clear of this crap.

You can't stop this girl from steering into some hot Synthmaker compressors!

I contacted Paul Willocks via his contact link on the MinimalSystem site just over a week ago to ask him if the listings on eBay were legit. He replied:- "The listings on ebay not legit. Many thanks for pointing this out. I will contact the seller and discuss."
