I'm not sure what you mean, I didn't start this thread so I can't change the tile.

My next amp will be a traynor YCs
Oh, I think we could multitask fine here :)

Man, I wish I could do a real amp. That one looks pretty sweet.
Blackstar HT-5 man, you won't regret it at all or/and a JMP-1. It would not negate your choice of amp modeling software and both sound damned fine using the speaker emulated outs and/or using the FX-Loop send into your interface with either Mic'd Cab IR's or Modelled Cabs :) Plus neither take up much room and maintence is absolute minimal. Is it possible to order/try a little Blackstar HT-5 from your local and demo it at your home setup for a few days? Have the best of both (All just my opinion though h man and FWIW)

All the best to you

Dean

Just meant that the discussion had changed from guitars to amps. That's all. Doesn't matter to me either way.

Sorry about that mate, i wrongly presumed that you were the Op of this thread as i thought you started it when buying your first Ibanez S-Series model. Again appologize for getting that one wrong man

No big, but I would have gladly changed it if I was the op :D

@blackstar: DROOOOOOOLLLL! I know that I'd want a blackstar for sure if I was to get an amp, so versatile! Basically, you can get any tone from one. But I do the strick can action, no complaints from my neighbors!

@susiwong

I had a traynor bass amp for 15 years. Full, warm, great for jazz guitar also great for my rhodes. Had it not been for a two story drop I'd still have it. I used to teach at a guitar shop. Still friendly with the owner. He's an authorized Traynor/Yorkville dealer been so since the 70's. Traynor has two-year "EVEN IF YOU BREAK IT" warranty.

I guess the two story drop was after warranty then ? :P
Just joking,

If it only happened in the first two years and not on the 15th everything would be fine.

Very different guitars.

Apart from the obvious (wood, PUs):
- scale length
- bridge
- headstock, string length behind the nut
- due to these factors the PRS will bend much easier, the others will be snappier and tighter in the bass
- 24 vs 22 frets - neck PUs tend to sound better on 22 fret guitars due to overtone structure
- probably more, I'm only going by the pix
- The Jackson will be harder to keep in tune because of the extreme string angles at the nut

Play them side by side and pay special attention to these topics.

It's a matter of style and taste, and I'm not talking visuals.

Cheers,
susiwong
