Great!
Earlier than I expected...
Let's see what fractional tempo does...

quick bug... using kontakt player is crashing XT when trying to change channel number...it shows window that instances of plugin have to be reloaded and stays beachballing forever...
It also sometimes doesn't play anything, like MIDI notes aren't sent to instrument. It just happens in XT2
Mac OS 10.6.5
Edit... also, new feature for selecting channel that is displayed for multi-out plugins isn't track persistent, so user have to change it back and forth when changing midi tracks to see corresponding output. I think it should stay bound to a track once set and only display that track's output channel.
I like new track color display, quite nice.

I am cautiosly going to say here it looks like the old Jorgen is back
A few other devs could take note here (Weekly updates are pointless when you do not enhance usability)
Interesting times ahead if Jorgen truly is back

Did anyone already find out how the fractional tempo is supported?

you can type in tempo with two decimal places instead of only integers.

Thanks!insertpizhere wrote:you can type in tempo with two decimal places instead of only integers.
That was quite obvious, if I wouldn't have thought that fractional tempo was something like tempo track.

He just built up his business, slowly, with thoughts, so that it will hopefully last for longer than just a year or so. ('Rome wasn't built in a day'...)
That's how I see it.

Yes, this will be very much appreciated.kejkz wrote: ...

I don't know if this is a bug of 2.6beta, or I just first encountered it. If I change some built-in EQ settings in mixer window, it refreshes UI. This is not bad at all (

I also think, because of EnergyXT nature, and because you can control different synths with same midi track, it's useful that same feature is present when multiple instruments are played through same track. So that user can look at both of them, or the one he pleases. Right now, only last settings of last instrument are displayed on channel strip.

Last longer than a year ? if he had kept up the pace he has done for the last few years there would be no business left at all
Even his number one fan has switched to that other host
When Jorgen is at full flight he doesn't have to build up slowly with thoughts, he is capable of putting every other dev around to shame
These releases are still very very very slow compared to Jorgen full flight
However he is picking up the pace and he is also working on usability issues and bugs (A lot more than can be said for the devs of that other host)
Lets be happy but lets not talk bullsh*t OK
