I've been using Cantabile Solo for at least 1/2 year, and have a several synthesizers and midi keyboards routed through it, along wih a set of footpedals and an electric bass/guitar nput (for audio effects and triggered synthesizing). I also use a Korg nanoKontrol to tweak basic rack parameters on the fly. That's a lot to keep going with just two hands and a foot, and I've been trying to figure out how to keep a note, chord or sequence playing when I release the triggering key(s). Ideally, I could assign a toggle button to each rack or channel that would toggle the hold function on or off. I've looked through the manual and see this can be done when using the computer keyboard as a midi input, but can't figure how to do it with an external midi keyboard. Can this be done using midi assignments in Solo?
I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I don't know about any latch for midi notes in Cantabile. There is just a "Controller Latch" midi filter.
