Late as always but here is my Top Six :

Brick in the Sky (Noise Fest) - Peter Gone Sonic : 10 points
Into The Light - Mulperi : 7 points
Obstacle - Edteneyck : 5 points
Chimeransayat - Tattiemannie : 3 point
Recovering Chimera - Cubensick : 2 points
Bzur - Air : 1 point

This was one hard synth to get anything usefull out of other than atmospheric background noise. ;)
You guys showed me that that in the right hands, everything is possible, WELL DONE !
I could not get a kick out of this thing AT ALL, but in all the rythmic tracks in this OSC I heard great kicks and great snares (hats off to you).
There is also that distinct Chimera sound that is present in all the tracks, so the thing definitely has its own character.
Some tracks were just too short for my taste and didn't get any/less points. :(
All in all a nice mixed bag of sonic treats, thank you guys (and girl (your cover somehow reminded me of Forbidden Colours, by R. Sakamoto)).:D

And again thanks to ALL the voters.

Here I am, more late than even, it was very difficult to vote even because on my mp3 the name of the track where wrong so I had to get back to the internet... well here are my choice, even if there are at least other two song that I would have put in the list... but that's it:

Cubensick 10 Very nice tune... hip hop ballad
Dead Eddy 7 very fine ambient music
Mulperi 5 I like this space walz ballad
Yeager 3 I like the light start and then the drums
PetergoneSonic 2 very fine mood
Tattiemannie 1 very experimental and nice

I have to say: RXML on my FL studio is very unstable....!!!

My vst choise... in the next post

Getting harder and harder to vote lately with so many good songs. Again listened to all a dozen times at least, and but for the deadline to force my hand would still be undecided.

In the end it came to this:

10 pts: Brick In The Sky (Noise Fest) - Peter Gone Sonic
7 pts: Into The Light - Mulperi
5 pts: Bzur - air
3 pts: Echidna's Daughter - OSCXXI - Yeager
2 pts: Last train to Chimeranian - dwsel
1 pt: Recovering Chimera - Cubensick

Vote for synth: Well I would say Either String Theory or Rez, but as the voting so far has Pink with 2 votes and Xhip with 1, I will even it out and say Xhip.

That's a shame, but I hope fixable as I adore this synth. I now have it as one of the top 5 free synths, maybe top 3 with Synth1 and Oatmeal. Very unique and useful sound to compliment even commercial ones.

But strange to see that mostly FL are giving issues lately, is also with NR2010. Of course they all have the 'multicore' bug, but I have multicore and see no trouble in Reaper with many instances.

Of course the old workaround is to copy and rename the dll for every instance, try that.

Well, RXML is a very fine vst... I love the plucked stuff you can do... the problem comes with multiple istances and sometimes iot freeze the program... maybe it could be also because I'm now using the fl 9.6 beta... (but how could I not use it... ? it will be off in december)... I'll try with the non beta... but I really like the vst...

Hi guys,

I'm heading off for a vacation until friday. As far as I can see, my entry might fall within the prize range (thanks everybody for your votes!!), so in order to not block the prize distribution procedure, I take the liberty to post my preference list already, so you guys can sort it out without me when the big prize grabbing starts :-)

1. GSi's Die Funky Maschine ZD6
2. MaxSynth's Cryologic
3. Luftrum's Luftrum5 bank

If those are already taken I'll happily pass the prize to the next one. Thanks everyone - organizers, prize donors, participants - again for making this contest available!

OK, I'm off for a few days (maybe finding the time for finishing my entry for OSC 22), have fun everyone!

Regards,
Andre

Congrats, everyone, that rough and dirty synth gave my ears a beating, but it was well worth it.
