RMV and it's effects

Am i missing something.
I like the idea of adding a little reverb to my drumkit using RMVs internal effects. I can set this individually for each pad. Since a natural drumsound would share a common room (i. e. reverb setting) i would really like to define a drum reverb and just have individual sends for the different pads. (would also be a lot less keyboard work for me...) Is there no way to do it?
Also i figure different FX for each pad might bring down my DAWs computing power pretty soon...
Any help appreciated

Why not do it in your DAW with the RMV outputs?

if i do it inside my kit i can use it in multiple Songs. Otherwise i need to administer much more complex Routings and Settings within my DAWs (where i happen to use 2 different programs at the moment......)Karten wrote:Why not do it in your DAW with the RMV outputs?

Yes, i know, but for each pad i need do redo the same Reverb setting and to utilize a single FX unit for each pad which is not comfortable and wears on my resources.swindus wrote:There are two sends for every pad.

Swindus is talking about the fx-sends, the two dials in the pad area on the right of the GUI, with which you can send a pad (or slice) to one of the three send fx channels of RMV. Thats a different thing than the insert fx on the left of the GUI below filter etc.

I'm writing this from memory but basically what you need to do is select the pads you want to affect as a group then use the right button on the mouse to select the send value. IIRC there is a scaling thing going on that means pads with a send already sent will have their send value increased on top of the group value.mchoffmann wrote:Yes, i know, but for each pad i need do redo the same Reverb setting and to utilize a single FX unit for each pad which is not comfortable and wears on my resources.swindus wrote:There are two sends for every pad.

It's in the manual somewhere, I think in the stuff about pad groups.

While what Gamma describes is the group editing ... either on insert fx or fx sends
