Hello! I'm having the same problem with my iRig/Amplitube/iPhone 3GS. I've gently cleaned out the input jack port, still can't hear my guitar through Amplitube. For me, the problem started when I tried to record something with the record tool in Amplitube. I bounced the track, but I never got my guitar to play again through Amplitube. I can hear the metronome fine. I thought maybe I accidentally turned something on in the record process that I need to now turn off but I can't that something to turn on that gives me signal again through the Amplitube. Do I need to contact IK Multimedia directly?

Super bummed to not have amplitube anymore. I'm a novice guitarist and this app was a way for me to have fun and get a feel for what using real amps and effects was like. I miss it terribly and would very much like to figure out what happened.

Can anyone help?

You have to make sure the track is armed in the recorder. If you bounced, I'm not sure if you have the one or four track, but either way a track should be armed in order to hear something out of the app. If you have the track armed correctly, contact support and they'll get you going.

Thanks!! I actually did have the track armed. Turned out it was a dirty input jack, after all. I had cleaned it. But I read so many comments where that was the issue that I finally got out some tiny tweazers, a needle and a magnifying glass and dug out every bit of fiber inside the jack. That fixed it. I feel kinda dumb, but glad it now works. Such a fun app.

Where shall I post my video, using Amplitube Jimi Hendrix software? I guess I will post a link here, since this is where I have been posting. I posted my iRig vid in this thread... the JH software is fantastic!! Lots to choose from in there, holy smokes. But you all know I lean toward the Marshalls :-) I used the JTM model in the vid. You were right Peter, in saying I would be pleased with this! Can't wait to experiment more. I will post the link when the vid is online.

Thanx!!!!!!!

Thats very nice Peter, I suppose if you wanted to use it as an 8 track recorder you could bypass all the AMplitube FX ???

UNLESS you guys are designing some pro audio apps hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My drummer bought it from me - the H4... we use it to record practice, a line goes to it from the board. And I use THAT sound with any videos I shoot there... since the camera only picks up me singing and the the rubber drum hits, LOL. I got me the new H4n. Man, it's SMOKIN'. Your latency was your computer I would think... your DAW...

Thanx for checking out the vid.

Hey all, just got this, and I wanna run it into the power amp in of my guitar amp if possible.

Is there a way to turn off just the cab and mic sims? A "direct" setting I guess, but leaving the amp itself on?

If not, I notice that the dev posts on here, so maybe you could add that feature for me as a late xmas gift :D

Has anyone tried iRig through a Base Sounddock? If so, does it work through the docking connector or does it need to go through the AUX in?

The sound is routed out of the iRig's output, not the dock connector.

Thanks for the reply Peter.

No problem. I use the aux in on my portable speakers when using iRig and it sounds great.

I bought this with the full rig etc and some of things just dont seem to work very well for example the reverb, I just dont hear it (which for a reverb is just wierd). the rig itself sounds awesome with the moog app though so was worth the buy.
