Read the post again: There is a question mark at the end of the sentence. I am ASKING if that was what you meant, not telling you.

You may be telling me that "the bars and include whole notes, half notes and quarter notes.", but I my experience with the demo is different and the software does not perform as you mentioned. I don't know why, and the developer has not answered my email or replied in this thread.

So tell me one thing. Why should I buy HI if I see no proof that it can output more than whole notes? You say it can, but no one seems to be able to state how this can be achieved. I know it sounds silly, but I really don't want to waste my money on software that does not do what I want.

I'm not HI's sales person, I don't care if you buy it or no. I was only trying to help you but you keep treating me as if I was a liar or an imbecile that don't know how a plugin that I've been using for a year works.

If you are not convinced with HI, try Harmony Navigator Light, it's cheaper and seems to adapt better to what you are looking for:

And don't bother to reply to this post, you are muted.

You said it, not me. But now that you mention it, ya you are behaving like the second one. You don't get it, do you? I was telling you my experiences with this software(The slider did not work as you said it did), and you kept playing the brainless parrot, repeating how it should work ad nauseum!

HINT: I know how it's supposed to work, but it didn't. Is that too hard a concept for you to grasp?

Oh no, I be devastated. So are you in about 5 seconds.

Non of this matters anyway, I bought a great deal from Applied-Acoustic.

For those that might read this later on HI can input note values smaller than whole notes. With that said, the demo is very crippled. I have no problem believing the sliders don't work in the demo as there are other useful things that are also disabled that would give a potential customer a good idea of what the app is capable of.

I should also mention that I no longer own HI but thecouple of times that I emailed them they responded within a day. And the responses were very proffesional. In the end it was not the software I needed but I did learn a bit while using it. Some combination of HI and HN would be awesome.

Ahh..the voice of reason and sanity! ;-)

Thanks very much for posting, this was the type of answer that I was looking for to begin with.

Cheers

Thank you very much for corroborating my words, I own HN and HI and they indeed work great together.

Anyone that cannot see in the video that I posted before...

...that HI divides each bar in quarter notes is fooling himself pretending he is making music. See how, at 0:42, the developer uses the slider I mentioned in a previous post to reduce the bar from quarter notes to half notes.

If the OP. is still reading this, I'd suggest to look for a simple arpeggiator to toy with, one that could provide the illusion of making real music while simply clicking buttons mindlessly.

Yes,yes, your music is the only real music, etc, etc, etc.

I will leave the mindless part to you as you do it so well.

BTW-forgot to mute you as I often forget other trivial matters. Thanks for reminding me-now you are muted and I will no longer see your inane drivel. Of course I know you will answer this anyway, you can't help but try and prove that you're right. Have fun as a ghost! :-)
