I hate it when I mix up my bread and my CAMERA
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Tell me about it. My raisin toast got horribly overexposed yesterday morning.

Ignoring the leds, tho' I'd get used to them I suppose, this is a fabulous looking guitar that I'd dearly love to own :D :tu: http://www.framus.de/modules/custom_sho ... ge=0&cl=EN
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

Framus make some damned fine guitars from the examples i have played Ian and the 3 amplifiers in their catalogue are non to shabby either but maybe a bit overpriced i think. The instruments though whilst yep not cheap are very well crafted AFAIK/from experience. Duncans as standard and good hardware. The only reason i have not got a Framus is due to them not having a floyd equipped model to my taste really man

Post

Yeah, Framus have always had a good rep for quality instruments, but I've never been lucky enough to play one let alone own one.

Hey Ian
Got an awesome Framus Banjo from early 70's here. Guitar player all my life but have yet to manage a 5 string Framus ;-)

Banjos are like ukes and violins, imo, people should need a license to own one, a license costing twice as much to play one in private and one costing ten times as much to play one in public. In the right hands all three instrument are generally awful, in the wrong hands  :hihi:

I can appreciate the build quality, just not the noise they make, and thank you, I and no doubt your neighbours will be grateful to *miss* out on the violin :hihi:
