cheap or not, cant buy it...still have so much to do with Gladiator and Firebird+.

If i did like the gold from Filterbank 3 i would use that as a synth too.
Warmverb/Firebird+/bifilter and Gladiator are most beautyfull plugs on earth, why filterbank that ugly gold/brown?

anyway...loads very fast, arp swing and waveform vieuw in lfo are awesome, keyspresets are excellent, now check the rest :)

I have to say I'm impressed actually. The sound quality is amazing and there are some nice presets. I'm mainly interested into dance oriented sound so I had a quick run though those and it sounds very nice. Sounds very much like Nexus to me (the synth part). Really digging the supersaws :)
Can't say much more than that because I've only tried it out a little as of yet.

Now for the bad part: the GUI is absolutely atrocious. Lay off the f**king Terminator font and make a proper, readable GUI. The white/black one are ok-ish, but the rest is pure vomit. So much glow I half expect your next synth to shoot lightning back at the user... And the whole synth feels like looking through a fish eye lens. I actually feel a little sick by just using it a little. Just horrendous - did you actually pay someone to do this? Can you get the money back?
And I have quite a big delay switching between layers which I imagine is because it's loading the graphics for each skin every time. Also, it's 2010 - a proper preset browser is a must nowadays.

I'll second this. I figured out how to change categories just by random clicking. Not the best way, but it works I guess. The gui too is big, imo. That's my only complaint. It took up my whole screen at 1024x768. Smaller but without a reduction in functionality is the way to go.

interesting..I was the high bidder much of last week on a tg77, then through a series of events having to do with running cables etc within my studio I realized again why I went to software in the first place. So I was relieved when my high bid was surpassed..will keep an eye and ear on morhpX.
The TG77 seems to be an interesting synth. Especially the DX7-style arcitecture is nice. This synth could get a 'vintage classic'.
Our new synth is called ' Tone2 ElectraX'. ;-)

my apologies..had been up and down all night with tornado sirens going off and howling dogs..and no coffee.

Does anyone know how to get the demo (mac osx) version?
I'd like to check this out.

This thing sounds amazing so far! Good work.

Xenons answered my lingering question about the mono-legato, too. Sounds like a real winner so far! I actually like the GUI, but I think the glow could be toned down a bit... having a relatively uniform contrast "LCD" face makes it much easier to read.

As long as the fonts are legible up close, that's 8)

Also, don't care about the size. Hate small GUIs personally. The bigger, the better. I'm on a 1920x1200 main monitor, + 2x 1280x1024s on either side, so as long as it's not taller than 1000 pixels, fine by me.

I know some of you have low resolution monitors, and that's too bad... makes working quickly rather difficult with most modern DAWs. It's been a slow process, but I've finally got a setup here that really works well for me. I know not everyone is so lucky, and I can appreciate that. But, I personally hate to squint at tiny lettering and controls.

It's 2010, I think many of us are appreciative of a nice, beefy GUI that feels 'grabbable'. I want to work fast, and if I can just swing my cursor quickly from knob to knob and grab & twist or MIDI learn them right away, I'm thrilled.

OH! Are we getting rt. click MIDI learn on this one? PLEASE??! That's almost a deal breaker for me!

How are you folks getting the demo? I've checked the site a few times today and haven't been able to find it. Where's the exact links for the demo to download, as all I see is the mp3 audio demo, any idea's?

Second this.

Very good stuff - my only critisism so far i regarding the presets. They are cool in the extreme - really shows off what can be done. But after a while I started to thirst after some more calmer, bread & butter sounds. I am seriously thinking of picking up this one and make some sounds for it.

Marcus - I bow my head manta-style. You are a very talanted young man.

I think the GUI looks awesome myself. Love the white one too.

I'd prefer a non-3D GUI.
