Brilliant tracks mate.
Would be nice if there was some kind of walkthru,
showing how you used ML to achieve the sequences,
or some kind of break down as to what exactly you used it on.

Just a thought.

as i point in the video this one ( i mean FYGT's project )
is the simple one for the explanation of the how to use ML..
also
not the greatest tutorial ever but i think it gives the tiny clues about ML's Capabilities .

actually making tutorial with "Thankyou" project scared me its too much for the explanation with my poor english

I'm still speechless to how friggin good it sounds..
So, correct me if I'm wrong, your using pre-recorded sequences in ML and playing them out to tracks in Reaper?

That's what is ML to me


i have no play skill actually
so i record nothing to ML

all of them slices - bits from random midi files , random sources .

im just drag dropping from my "midi cut"(which is i prepared earlier) library
to ML
till the find a sequence that makes me :
" ok this is it.. now i can build on "

you never know every bit of the any midi files when will be useful with this "amazing" baby ! so im keeping every pieces

maybe a few more options to midi manipulation swing reverse ( even maybe flip as like FL do..)




and btw i would be grateful if you show-tell some tip tricks how do you using ML
im looking for the every probabilities how people use with different ways.

i was planning to make a little video showing some ways i imagine midiLooper could be used, but i found some bugs and got distracted. there is a new version up.

i have question of the mount!
its about the scale channel selection for every slots
are they supposed to receive messages-notes "only" specific channels separately that i routed?


this what im trying :
i split my keyboard 3x zones
zone1 goes to the channel 1 = 0 ( C-2 ) _ 23 (B-1)
zone2 " " 2 = 36 (C1) _ 59 ( B2)
zone3 " " 3 = 72 (C+) _ 83 (B4)

also same settings in ML for first 3 slots
ML setup like this:
HostSync Mode : Sample
Scale / transpose channels slot1= Ch1 , slot2 CH2 and slot3 CH3
in the Loop Manipulation settings
slot1 CH1 , slot2 CH2 , slot3 CH3
and in the low-high note splits for every slots
they same like keyboard zones so

slot1 = 0 ( C-2 ) _ 23 (B-1)
slot2 = 36 (C1) _ 59 ( B2)
slot3 = 72 (C4) _ 83 (B4)

i dont know what im doing wrong in this setup ..
every slots receive the scale inputs from every channel so from every zones

i didnt figured it out it yet

...
or am i expecting something wrong from this option ?

yes, that's a bug, probably introduced when i made the scale channel per-slot...
fixed, please download again.

not big issue but switching between slots with mouse switches the scale too..
if you dont touch the gui during play-record its ok .
