Have you checked this out yourself? If not, do it.

I also saw the post regarding the clicks - and rushed to see what the fuss is all about. Bad news - yes, there is a click. Good news, it's so damn tiny that you have to focus to spot it. While I am no friend of clicks - I couldn't see how that tiny flaw could in any way degrade my productions.

My opinion of course. But I encourage you to actually try spotting it yourself. It's very small.

/C
How can there be clicks in the samples, if they were properly done? Sounds to me like they didn't do their homework. Wouldn't this problem be easy to solve with an update, anyways?!
Yeah, maybe. But I cannot see why it's something to fuss about. I mean, you can barely hear it. Have you listened to these clicks yourself yet?

i wanted to do now, but got distracted by a bug concerning Sonar 8.5 64.

When I record a sound from the demo and use the transport to play back the recorded portion, it does not stop- i recorded 4 bars and it plays those bars but doesn't stop afterwards, the last note plays on and on and on.

Is this related to the demo version?
Finally!

Concerning the spyware, once for all (I hope): you guys must consider how difficult is to put together a massive instrument like this and be sure that everything works properly... I can guarantee that the last thing a developer want to do is to insert some malicious code in it because:

1. It would be a total waste of time.
2. It's too risky... sooner or later someone would find that there's something wrong going on and
3. It would ruin his reputation

and last but not least:

4. I can understand the paranoid on security but people believe me: there's nothing really interesting to spy on your computers! Nothing! Really!!

It would be a total waste of time to monitor a zillion users PCs looking for... what???

So you only have to install a firewall if you actually have something to hide? :P

Post

Well no... there is some bad software around and the firewall blocks also external attacks.

I would say that you have to be scared to death by the possibility that an instrument is sending out informations if your VST dir has something worth to be hide :P

After testing another night I think I will buy it today. Couple things I would like to see in future updates.

1. Possibility to link filter 1 and filter 2. So that both are moving same time when I move eather of them.

2. When I connect modulation to filter knob, I would like to see it move.

3. Maby distortion fx units to insert and master fx also.

1 minor bug. If I adjust the distortion, nothing happens unless I press new key.

Well, I will go to tone forum with my requests..when I have time to make an account there.

+1

anybody else having problems with the AU version in logic ?

here it crashes logic after changing filter envelope's decay, then closing & reopening the gui.

You do realize that some people have all kind of various private projects in VST but not just in VST folder itself. But if VST folder is compromised i don't see what is stopping someone to just browse my computer. Note that i don't have anything to hide i just don' like that idea.

If that seems weird to you then fine. Open your wallet and walk down the street and show it to each person. I guess you won't generate any attention..

Odd. Doesn't happen to me. But it's your choice. I assume you don't have account at Facebook then.
It does happen to me and yes it's my choice. Note that i don't have anythng against Tone 2 and i really think that product is awesome but it is violating some of the stuff i stand for. That's all.

No i don't have Facebook. I don't even have slightest intention to open account there (simply i don't have time to hang with "buddies") but i am not sure how is that connected with my issue here?? What Facebook also pop up every 20 minutes?

Yep, it would be useful in some situations :tu:

I suspect this will increase CPU resources for something that is not strictly useful IMO (well it's cool, but I can live without it). Anyway feel free to post your suggestions on the user forums ;)

Yes but the last thing a developer is interested in is to browse your VST folder; there's no reason for doing something like this, so there's no reason for have this kind of suspects.

A fantastic synth.
You've done a great job again!

May you phase the glitches out quickly - and in Gladiator2 too

Being paranoid is the name of the game I guess.

I'm still waiting for proof that this is actually occurring.

2 and 3: That's happened me already. I discovered that because it crashes my ASIO drivers when my firewall blocked the comunication (Warmverb and Gladiator, normal licenses). That was the reason I sold all my Tone2 stuff. I hope they change their behavior with Electra.
