I just fixed / updated version 1.70 of Phenome again.
I've added a little Setup button (to the right above the browser).

Currently you can choose (enter) your PhenomeData location in there. So that you don't have to fiddle with searching the config.txt file and stuff :)

So, if you've installed libraries to e.g. D:\Sounds\New\PhenomeData\
simply type in:

Code: Select all

D:\Sounds\New\PhenomeData
This change will then be stored permanently.

Also a Multi button has been added (for loading and saving Multisetups). (They're saved as standard FXP files).

Oh, and there's the new "performance mode".

Clicking there turns it on. With notes C to G (Note Numbers 24 to 32) you can "switch" between layers, or choose which layer to play via keyboard.
Great for live-performance, moving sounds and other crazy stuff!

(In the future there might come a Guitar-Simulation that features switches for legato, sustain, fretnoise and stuff like that :))

NOTE: Performance Mode-setting will only be save in Multisetups (FXP's).

Please check it out:

And let me know how it works for you :)

Thanks!

Awesome, this version works in Win7 / Reaper x64 again (I just upgraded my computer and the previous version stopped working).

Love the updated GUI, too. Thank you again!

Yeah! I no longer get that "missing hard drive G" bug I used to get upon opening Phenome. Everything is back to normal now. Happy :D

Would be cool to be able to select a MIDI receive channel for each part - and then select key and velocity ranges :)

It seems that Phenome remembers the new path that I set under setup (D:\PhenomeData) as long as I am in the same project. I can load another instance of Phenome and it has the new path I set (D drive instead of C drive).

However, if I close FL Studio and reopen it and add Phenome, Phenome defaults back to the c drive path and I have to change it to D again under "Setup". Not sure if you are aware of this behavior. So the change is not permanent, and it needs to be made anytime I start a new project and load Phenome into it. Just thought I'd let you know.
