Tested it here and it works. Did you click the update disk symbol?pheeleep wrote:It seems that Phenome remembers the new path that I set under setup (D:\PhenomeData) as long as I am in the same project. I can load another instance of Phenome and it has the new path I set (D drive instead of C drive).
However, if I close FL Studio and reopen it and add Phenome, Phenome defaults back to the c drive path and I have to change it to D again under "Setup". Not sure if you are aware of this behavior. So the change is not permanent, and it needs to be made anytime I start a new project and load Phenome into it. Just thought I'd let you know.
And make sure you only have one Phenome DLL inside your vst plugins.
Should look like:
c:\whatever\vstplugins\phenome <- config.txt and other files
c:\whatever\vstplugins\phenome.dll <- outside phenome folder

Yeah thanks
For some reason it didn't show up before.
Oh and yes, it does default to my D drive now. I think I just needed to reboot the PC after making the change (and saving with the little disk icon).
All is well now

I'm seriously thinking of getting the Factory Bank B as a way to support further development (especially disk streaming and sample loading limited to single patch).
Can anybody who has bought it give some opinions, especially in comparison to free bank?
Thanks for this wonderful plugin - there was need for it imho,
Mario

Little problem: I installed both the factory banks, then copied elsewhere the files, uninstalled the banks (I don't like very much installers
).
I then remapped all the factory "A" .phe files to use a relative path instead of absolute (FactoryB was already ok in this regard).
I used setup tab in Phenome to change the file location.
The problem is that the preset browser stubbornly insist to show C:\ instead of the chosen location (which is M:\Audio\Sound Library\PhenomeData). The config.txt file shows a correct path in its first line. This also happens deleting and recreating the plugin (host: REAPER).
If I point the preset browser to the location the presets load correctly, but why doesn't the preset browser start in the correct location?
Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Mario

Yes, I did, and the setup tab reports correct path.
Thanks!
