Just watched the YouTube bid and what can I say, mind well and truly blown!
Astonishing!

But you've spelt atmosphere wrong...
Unless it's some other joke/definition I dont get
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

Post

Guenter, you have some cool cosmic connections. One more mind blower Synth released.

Hmmm...LOL...o.k. maybe I downloaded the Pro Demo and thought I had downloaded the Chrismas Special...LOL...now back to picking up
hair from the floor of my studio ;)

Hi, it looks like a great synth from what I've seen on your website, but why does it say that it works better with inharmonic sounds rather than traditional melodic waves.

Hey Guenter, glad you've got this out for the masses...

I'm well into making a full bank for this, and should be done in a few days, maybe even over the weekend. Working on a bank for Avatar ST also.

Lots of fun 8)

In the film "Avatar", the hero dude says something in his intro-voice-over, along the lines of (IIRC):

"In cryo... you don't dream"

I kept looping on that thought while making presets.

Sooo... with 'visions' of miles-long explorer "ships" floating past gas giants, put on your headphones, close your eyes, and listen to Cryo-dreamsSW.mp3

enjoy.

really well executed plugin. It sounds great and is simple to use, what more could anyone want?
Maybe a good price...... oh, you have that covered too :D

I may have to buy this while I'm waiting for Dreammachine 4.

that's quite obvious for several reasons. Most important is waves with a lot motion are mostly of that inharmonic type whereas a simple saw wave is just a simple saw wave without motion. Thus using waves with a lot motion serve far better for this machine esp. as it allows you to trigger different waves via assigned keys to give you a lot variety along the keyboard. Now use your imagination how traditional melodic waves would serve this purpose as these for themselves don't feature any atmospheric/scapelike motion.

Can anyone suggest a good program to convert .wav to the sf2 format used in
Scapeswizard.

you might try Viena by Kenneth Rundt http://www.synthfont.com/
which is freeware

there are other solutions around but some require an SB Live or a ike card installed like Soundfaction Alive which is good lo load a whole bunch of samples and preprocessing as sf2 preset.

My favorite, Extreme Sample Converter

I'm using Awave Studio for converting .wav to sf2. it'll also allow you
to load up a bunch of single sf2 files and save them all as a sf2 bank.
