There's a fantastic freeware version with a great interface that allows you to preview what will happen before you proceed.
I've been using it for years and it's never let me down.

but i like the fact that Robocopy is Windows Native & it ran at a impressive speed & AFAIKT did the job perfectly (update files that where newer, add new files & folders & leave the rest alone)

I must admit that I haven't compared the speed of both but I do imagine that Robocopy would come out on top.
