3rd party presets and Elek7ro problem

Using Logic as my host the 3rd party presets will not work.

The file extension of one set is .aupreset, which when selected plays the currently selected factory preset, however, the title of the 3rd party preset shows as selected. From there, when I select 'previous' or 'next' it moves to through factory presets

The other two files use presets with an .fxp extension. They are not selectable (greyed out) at all.

Before I trash the 3rd party presets, any help would be appreciated.
