Can't figure that one out, though. I mean, they almost had what amounts to a man-crush on Nilsson, whose music just sort of was always pretty bleh to me. In fact, I'd say it falls right in line with my KVR screen name.

I think it was more his songwriting and the fact that they thought he'd be a huge draw for Apple records if I remember correctly, but yes, a strange obsession indeed.
