I've only got No. 3.

Some dodgy spelling in some of these...that's burglar, not burgler in No. 2. Unless you meant bugler? Or burger? Is it the latest McDonald's jingle?

Also, in No.3 it should be harbour bearing in mind where they came from. :hihi:

I'm only splitting hairs because I don't know the answers... :x

Serves me right for copy and pasting from dodgy lyrics sites. :hihi:

Yep, should be 'burglar' (and 'harbour' ;)). And I just noticed 'nite' in there too. Ugh. My deepest apologies. The fact I had to correct 'culogy' to 'eulogy' should have tipped me off that the site wasn't too rigorous in its journalistic standards.

The link applies to all, robojam.

#4 is by a female American artist, if that helps narrow it down.

Aha! I know No. 4...and the connection.

Pool your resources?

Or resort to anagrams?

(Rousing Mortals, Motion Fads, Swam To It, Worn Deer, USA Zen Vegan)

Post

well, now I can see the names of the artists I knew and the one i didn't kind of jumps out at you but don't understand the first anagram...

so for what it's worth:

Fats Domino - Blueberry Hill
Tom Waits - Blue Valentine
New Order - Blue Monday
Suzanne Vega - Small Blue Thing

connection: um... blue? :)

Louis Armstrong, who also released a big-selling version of Blueberry Hill.

Well done, Gary. Over to you.

it's getting harder to think of something interesting every time...

What connects:

Smashing Pumpkins
Ween

Post

Add to the list:

Meatloaf
Rick Astley

Post

Hmm...something to do with music that was used as a weapon, or a means of torture?

Ok, add to the list:

Maybe more clues?

Post

Actually, Michael Jackson could be the odd one out too.
