Ok, sorted. Took some fiddling around with, but here's how you do it in Acid Pro 7!

1: Create a MIDI track and put a clip in it.
2: Insert soft synth "Catanya".
3: Set "MIDI Output" to "Catanya".
4: Create a MIDI track and put a clip in it.
5: Insert soft synth - whichever you want driven by Catanya.
6: Set the soft synths MIDI input to "Catanya Input"
7: Go to the Catanya track, activate in-line editing.
8: Bring up Catanya, go to the browser, load an arp.
9: Go to the Catanya track and hit a key on the editing keyboard.
10: Enjoy the sound of Catanya arp'ing your synth!

Took me 10 minutes and 1/2 a beer to figure it out!

Now to figure out if it's possible to change arps in mid-song. Probably have to watch a video or two. Maybe I should write a tutorial for Catanya with Acid Pro 7...

*edit* Complaints!

- Can't copy patterns between sections
- Menus don't make a lot of sense in places
- Pattern lengths over 16 seem to be problematic

Still fairly happy with it. Will watch the videos and see what I can see.

I'd email the developer and ask. I don't see anything on their Website about it, though.

Using Cubase. How can you make a synth receive the notes from Catanya but still being controllable by a MIDI device (like Kore)?

The pic makes zero sense, for sure, and it does look like she's shoving her finger up her nose. It's just too weird.

Is there any way possible to get pc VSTs to run within a DAW on a mac? ...a bridge, a wrapper, anything? I REALLY need to get Catanya working for Mac some how. I'm about to ditch my PC and after playing with the demo for hours last night, I'm convinced I can't live without this plugin, it's amazing.
