For those who haven't realized. The Wavestation plugin is now available as a single product for 49$:

No excuses to not own a Wavestation anymore... :)

If you check the ranking above you'll see that Synthmaster 2.5 is leading with 6 votes now, followed by OP-X Pro II, Wavesation and TimewARP 2600 with 4 votes each.

No thanks, even if it's free. Did you check my synths in the OP? More than enough for a year or more and that are not even all i have...
For using samples i already got e.g. PPG Wave 3.V, Blofeld, Synthmaster 2,5, NI Kontakt 4, Alchemy, NI Absynth 5 etc.

Hi

From that list the only one i use is FM8

so u know my answer )))

I did voted already for SynthMaster 2.5.

Just having Surge too and since this one doesn't have one single vote I just wanted to mention it again. It's fun to tweak and seems to be very underrated, and I simply don't get why. Just wanted to make sure its not getting overlooked by you. Don't forget to get the Arty wave-tables for it! :)

I have to say that TimewARP2600 at the first place is quite a surprise for me. The rest of the ranking is not that surprising compared to that.

Surge had a fair chance but no votes so far like in other polls before...
To be honest the next 6 soundbanks i'll do are mostly fixed now, also based on my own evaluations and tests:

- Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V (already started...)

- Xils Lab PolyKB II

- Synapse Audio Dune

- KV331 Audio Synthmaster 2.5

- Waldorf Blofeld

- Korg Wavestation (EX, A/D, SR hardware + plugin)

The bank for PPG Wave 3.V was on the list anyway since i already started it.
I already made some new patches for PolyKB II and Dune too. The Blofeld is one of my absolute favorites so it will be always on my personal list...

So far I don't know how good i could cover TimewARP 2600 as it's the winner so far but maybe i'll do a small bank with 32 or 64 patches for it.

Since there seem to be many TimewARP 2600 lovers out there i just started with a few patches. I'm not sure when a whole bank is finished.
This is quite a special analog emulation since it has 3 OSCs (most polysynths have 2) and is semi-modular. The only internal FX is a Reverb so it's mostly pure analog sound.

For those who didn't recognize. Besides his new bank for PolyKb II Simon from Soundsdivine has a full bank for TimewARP 2600:

UPDATE:
Already got a few sounds for TimewARP 2600 and finally realized how powerful the synth is. The filter seems to be one of the best ever, Osc FM is very nice too and the results are almost anytime very musical and usable. The internal Reverb works nicely too. The real power is in programming polyphonic sounds which the original synth was not capable of but with higher polyphony the synth is quite CPU intense so i would recommend at least a Dual Core CPU for it (I got a Core 2 Quad Q6600).
