I'll except your apology and ignore all of Vandal's marketing efforts and call them an amp simulation as it clearly simulates the behavior of what's commonly considered a guitar amp regardless what anyone says or features it has.

I say all this not to take potshots at it, but to point at the silliness of it all. They could call it what ever the hell they want, it doesn't change what it is.

Pretty impressive classic rock tone with a Les Paul from a small amp ... plus you get a lot mileage on the puns.

However, my one of favorite amps I've heard is a Rivera Fandango: http://www.rivera.com/products/fandango/fandango.php Only a cable is needed between your guitar and this amp to be in tube heaven.

Me? I use AT3, Fender AT, effects from GR3 and speaker emulations (impulses) from http://www.recabi.net (which BTW are a total bargain at $15).

In that case it is not an amp sim at all and neither is AT3, it processes the guitar signal that cannot be heard and amplifies it so it can be heard so in fact all sims are guitar amps

I bet it sounded good coming out, a skillful dodge...merry xmas ZC

I don't, I always learn something and for some reason they always get me playing...I guess because they remind me what I can do now that I couldn't do before
