Are they all artists who haven't molested children then?

Post

Don't think Die Antwoord are molesters. Just potty mouths.

Clue: It's a visual thing.

Name movies that do not have any musical scores/soundtracks. As in, if music is playing, it needs a logical source from something in the movie, like a radio. Music during the opening / closing credits is ok.

Er...you're jumping the gun a bit there. You have to answer the last question before you can set a new one. Them's the rules...

Clue: Videos

Post

Ah, is it black & white videos then?

Björk - Big Time Sensuality
Ween - Push th' Little Daisies
Bad Religion - American Jesus
Madonna - whenever she's aiming at sexy or arty
Smashing Pumpkins - the one where Billy Corgan's a bit whiny
The Others - I'm too lazy to check YouTube

Michael Jackson's 'Black or White' was, however, in colour. (All I know about Die Antwoord is that clip with the progeria bloke. And the word 'Zef'.)

No.

doesn't really narrow it down, does it... ;)

It's not a specific/1st degree link (all made videos featuring a cameo by pamela anderson for example), think about the people behind the camera...

Was there a Chris Cunningham video where Rick Astley grew three extra arms and then crawled around in some primordial soup, before exploding? No, thought not.

I'm struggling with this one...

And... I may be wrong about Die Antwoord being the odd one out but if you look for rumours of people making videos for them, that should give you a clue about the genral thrust of this question...

Post

oh yeah, and....

definitely the odd one out. :)

Post

maybe something about the creative geniuses who made the videos? hmmm?

Post

The directors maybe?

And what they went on to do?

(not that i'm bored of this and want it over... ;))

Did they all go on to win Oscars? Except John Landis and the proposed Die Antwoord one (Niell Blomkamp, who directed District 9)?

near enough... :)

not oscars but they all went on to big hollywood careers except neil blokamp (if he ever made a die antwoord vid...) and john landis (thriller) who already had big hollywood careers...

for the record:

smashing pumpkins - tonight, tonight - Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine...)

Ween - Freedom of '76 - Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich, Where the Wild Things Are...)

Madonna - Vogue - David Fincher (Fight Club, Alien3...)

Bad Religion - American Jesus - Gore Verbinski (Mousehunt, some Pirate films...)

Meatloaf - I'd Do Anything - Michael Bay (shit, shit and more shit)

Risk Astley - Never Gonna... - Simon West (Con Air)

Bjork - Army of Me - Michael Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Be Kind Rewind)

Go for it B_F, I'll be taking a lie down now....
