Nothing fancy. Just took this one down a few months ago. Don't have pics of the new one, but it looks pretty similar, imo. (i'm not sure if I have already posted this honestly)

Do I spy an "Opal" prototype? Or is it an Axiom 2? Were you working with Patrick or William on that project?
I love how your sound treatment looks like curtains! Sweet digs Jazzy, looks like home.
@Matt, when did you swap your EundF for a Sherman? I love the look of that Snazzy Wow and Flutter. Your Zed board is also a beaut.

whoa,
I guess we know that's a professional facility because there's a fire extinguisher in the corner. I don't recall ever seeing that in any other studio pics.

Now that you pointed it out, Guitar Center will start bundling fire extinguishers with Pro Tools for those kids that want to make "fire"... "beats".wrench45us wrote:whoa,

Nice n mellow looking in there Jason.
I think it was spring I switched up filters... no disputing the EundF sound quality, but the Sherman just has a lot of raw dirt and sick vibe imo. Love the Wow and Flutter... so freaking unpredictable depending on the input material. Still getting to know the Zed and how best to workflow with it, but it's a lovely desk.justin3am wrote:@Matt, when did you swap your EundF for a Sherman? Yeah, it's the Opal 0.b, but I haven't heard anything new on that from Sir William in more than a year, so I figured the beta testing is over with. Honestly, it is a rock solid board, even in prototype.justin3am wrote:Do I spy an "Opal" prototype? Or is it an Axiom 2? Were you working with Patrick or William on that project?

The sound treatment reminded me of theater curtains, as well, which is why I chose that color in the first place.

That's kinda funny. The Axiom Pro (Opal was just the dev name) has been on the market for almost a year now.Jazzyspoon wrote:Yeah, it's the Opal 0.b, but I haven't heard anything new on that from Sir William in more than a year, so I figured the beta testing is over with. LOL, yeah, there was never a "okay, it's released" announcement, so I figured it got shelved. I wonder if the Axiom Pro firmware would work on this board?

cable management not being my strong point I like a neat, fairly minimalist, everything at my fingertips set up, I got a new rug yesterday so I took some pics. The wood floor with my chair was an accident waiting to happen.

Doesn't computer noise disturb you (not to mention refrigerator noise)?
Browsing these pictures I see that many of those music corners have computer box right next to the chair.
