I sure wish they'd also give an update on the 64 bit/mac versions of their current plugins that are supposed to be coming soon...

Looks like a very nice upgrade from Nitro.

"Due to technical limitations the PSP N2O is available in the non ilok version only."

Wonder if there is anything to read between the lines on this?

Not a no-brainer, but very tempting, considering how good Nitro is.

Most excellent.....now Im happy :D
Especially happy iLok isnt required

Hopefully they fixed the graphic bug w Logic 9 (made it rather unusable), it was pretty disappointing to see them not fixing it for Nitro.

Memory serves correct the "Unavailable as an i-lok version" has been the same for all the recent upgrades from PSP.

I'm on the fence on this one. I don't use Nitro much (hardly at all) and I'm not sure how much more/better this is for $69.

I'll be interested to hear what others find.

yeah, I was wondering what warrents paying for the upgrade if its mainly just comsmetic changes.

My guess it's more than a cosmetic change. The WinterWarmer2 and MasterComp upgrades gave you the lite versions for individual tracks which is incredibly useful - so they were a good deal. I rather think the reason I can't see the value is because of my lack of usage experience with Nitro.

Other then the pre-defined routing matrix presets, step sequencer, pitch shifter and the built-in limiter, not much else that I can see on first glance.

While built upon the same basic concept as PSP Nitro, PSP N2O, with its new modules and extended modulation features, explores completely new sonic areas. The plug-in engine has been rewritten and redesigned from scratch in order to improve the sound and take full advantage of the optimizations offered by modern CPUs.
built-in limiter that uses algorithms from our extremely well regarded PSP Xenon hi-definition mastering limiter
expandable architecture - new operators and modulator types to be added in future versions while preserving backward compatibility

Did they upgrade the sound? Will be trying this later ..
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

Nice!
I'll definitely try the demo! :)
