I also plan to buy Kontakt for my other sampler needs, so it would be convenient to be able to exploit the soundset even more with the two.

There have been plenty of GPO vs EWQLSO Silver threads on KvR, if you want to search for them. Really, I don't think you could go wrong with either one. But I still go back and forth on the two: can't decide!

Luckily, I have plenty of other things to distract me for now.

No need to make an immediate decision. (well, besides the $236 price drop on Silver...)

Thank you for your kind words. However, drum volume level is set on purpose. I am not fond of lound drums and drums driven music. Thus, I refuse to "crank" them up.

I don't drink alcohol neither smoke cigarettes nor take drugs. I don't even drink coffee or tea. I am also a vegetarian. So, that kind of comparison tells me nothing.

Next time use something with milk or juice so, I can "get" it.

Ah, I see... Well maybe Rob's analogy was more apt but how 'bout music without drums is like sentences without consonants? In milk or juice terms, that's, uh, orange juice without the pulp or milk..., well, it's just milk isn't it? Milk's not supposed to have anything in it except chocolate - but you probably don't do that either.

(I know you only said you weren't fond of lound drums and drum driven music but I'm trying to make a joke here.)
