want to test this one?

its a limiter/compressor/clipper plugin (windows only / Synthmaker) .

pm me to get a copy to beta test.

i'm from germany, so a native english speaker to cross check the manual would be nice.

cheers!

edit:
4 beta testers assigned already.
since its a synthmaker prototype, not many (if any) bugs to expect, so i guess i'll only need one more tester.

thanks so far!

jm

p.s.: it would be nice if you could give me some feedback about my website :)

Your GUI looks very nice. Good job! Can't help you test though.

GUI schaut wirklich jut aus, grad die Knobs

Post

Very realistic, looking at a knob, the left to right is all different, like any real knob's view would be from a given angle.

I don't want to test it though.

:hihi:

may i ask why?

thanks for the props!

i'll upload some other gui works i did...maybe someone wants a gui of mine for his stuff :)
i expect some people will find em a bit pathetic 3d thought one could render them orthographic to elminate the perspective "distortion".

cheers!

Awesome work man!!!

Sounds punchy and aggressive if desidered but at the same time it remains much much much much more "natural" (i mean natural not transparent and sterile) than every free compressor i have, really really natural!! By far much more natural even than DensityMKII...really really a big gift from you guy!! :D :D Thanks!!

N.B.
The saturation knob must be kept very low otherwise the attack becomes really really "nasty";

The flavour knob doesn't have effect at all: create two mixer channels with two identical audio tracks on and two identical KRUCZ settings, than on one of the KRUCZ change only the postion of the FLAVOUR knob, now invert the polarity of this mixer channel and look at the master channel: total silence.

Thanks for the freebie man!! :)

thanks for the praise :) ...
i hate to rain on your parade...but...
i'm so sorry man :( this is not freeware.
but its not that expensive :) 15€ intro price for non commercial usage.

flavor does nothing? the effect should be subtle. you can actially have settingst where it would be identical to some dynamic range (softness less then three and quiter signals). i'll check if this is a bug. thanks for your report.

edit: flavor works in VSTPluginAnalyser. different flavor, different harmonic distortion response / waveshape.

i hope i did not disappoint you that much with the payware reality.
didn't you get a nag screen that tells you you have to register after demo period??

cheers!

edit:
i hope i hurt nobodys feelings if i change the sturations knobs range.
greater values may be a bit too "saturated".

Well isn't it the point ;) ?

If the user can't set it to sound good, that's not your fault.

It's up to the user to chose the right settings, and if it sounds too saturated, just reduce the saturation knob, easy as it .

of course...but reducing the range will on the other hand yield more prcision in the lower ranges. and when you do not need the higher range anyways? to come up with an optional solution, backsite configuration or something.

did you see the nag screen by the way?

cheers!
