Yep - what do you see?

Post

got all 857 presets downloaded ok...

Strange. I can't see how it could be a connection issue - I have a fast broadband connection - no Windows Firewall, my hardware router has a firewall built in but even turning that off temporarily doesn't make a difference. Could adding an entry to my hosts file help perhaps?

No, but sending me that Zen folder definitely would :)

OK do you have a Dropbox account? The easiest way would be if I share the folder with you via Dropbox - that way you can directly access it. If you don't have an account I can refer you for one - follow this link:

Same problem here. Absynth showing 877 presets in the configuration window, but stops downloading at 328 (I imported some sounds manually, though).

Another question: is it possible to delete presets from the database? Just imported some presets that already existed... Now they're double!

Thanks in advance,
Jan

If you can send me your entire zen folder, this will definitely help.

Yes, although this is only enabled for me at the moment. I will delete them, watch them disappear :)

I enabled Absynth but it stopped at 165, though I wonder if the extras you have are imports.

Yes I found what's going on (thanks to your dropbox files). I messed up with the latest optimizations, presets don't get fully disabled when turning a synth on/off, hence the inconsistent display - and this probably confuses the download system too. Stay tuned for an update :)

[edit] I've found the problem with stalled downloads :D Fixing this for new users is not complicated, but it is going to be tricky for existing users...

Post

Nice to hear it'll be fixed. Perhaps you could introduce, for existing users, a possibility to restart downloads for a particular synth from scratch?
Cheers,
Jan

Actually I just added an option for Zen to automatically restart downloads whenever it thinks it has all the presets, but finds a discrepancy with the cloud numbers.

I'll upload a new beta later today, fixing this.

Good - that's what it should have been doing all along.

Oh and btw, if you haven't uploaded these duplicate presets, you can delete them using shift + right-click.

ok - 1.4 beta2 is online, use it if you are suffering from frozen downloads, this should fix it (leave it a little a bit of time to run and resync before new presets start showing up)

Seems to be working properly now. Maybe now we can start tagging stuff
