local variables are an affront to my sensibility
when implementing fft recently i discovered making a few temporary integer variables reduced cpu from 1.9% to ~1.6 or better in borland fclt :O so i still have room to apply this.. thank you for the reminder.and thank you for a developer's christmas.. :p
