There.Done.

Stop it. I want to do some Juno presets. I need my phat chorus built in.

I think it's more convincing if it not had a chorus/noisegenerator.

(I'd rather leave the chorus emu open until that Diva idea...)

(gotta listen to the TAL one. Big fan. In some ways the only real competition around... the only one who *understands* certain aspects of synths... no disresepct to others, just a certain *familiarity* with this one)

Hi Urs, before sending you out on a wild goose chase, I just double checked to make sure I wasn't going nuts, and it's definitely there. Here's how to reproduce:

1. With the init preset loaded, play a few single notes
2. Check the meters in your DAW and notice no clipping (output is usually around -2.5db give or take with single notes)
3. Now switch the filter poles from 24db to 12db

Actual Result: Now single notes will bump the output up to +7.5db.

Expected Result: Output should hover about where it was.

One of the first things I did after getting the first Tyrell alpha was run it through the TAL Chorus 60 plugin. Sounds great. I'd definitely be interested in hearing your thoughts on it. And while I agree that a Juno-esque chorus would make a great addition to Tyrell, I can certainly sympathize with you trying not to give away the farm.

I want the farm, the cattle and your kids dammit!

I want my freebee so when is this thing coming out? :D
What ever!

Wow, it does sound great runnin Tyrell thru the TAL CH-60!

Wow. I think it is really cool to say something like that in public (respect to you, Urs) and I also think that if I was a Plugin developer, I would be having a smile on my face for at least a week after hearing something like that :)

Just tried it in Logic 9 64 bit (btw I happily saw Tyrell is 64 bit native) and there's no volume jump here.
From around -8 for the 36 db filter, -7,5 for the 24 to -6,6 for the 12 db. Pretty regular.

Still havn't got everything up and running... spending too much time on wall decorations and stuff :-|

This was supposed to be written on the german mag forum, but my text was flagged as a hackattempt ... so i write it here instead:

Good job on the layout guys! It's really clever and fresh! Since im a user of Ace i am already familiar with Urs's work and the extremely fat sounds. If you compare those two, there's a few differences like having ringmod in the mixer, sync and vibrato next to a fixed fader for pulsewidth .. it's really clever! The matrix felt complex, not in a bad way though. Sure, it took a little while to get used to, but if you want a powerfull feature, it will be complex. I have no idea what Feedback actually does in the mixer, but i guess it's some analog thing. The filter's are brutal!

One thing that's a bit unclear is how the lfo sync/rate works. Is rate a multiplier of the sync rate?
Matrix target is a bit overwhelming with all those options. I would like if you could click that and then click on the synthesizer, the thing you want to modulate.
Im using reaper and it seems to work perfect (reaper 4.0 alpha26). It did cause a mixchannel to automute when i messed around with the filter, not sure what caused it though.

Im also experiencing a volume bump using the 12db filter. Thinking of it, maybe that was causing reaper to mute. The boost combined with the filteroptions somehow.

Brilliant work! If they cant make a hardware model .. i'd love a hardware control midi thing (like my beloved maschine ;))

Hello, I can't figure out what parameter controls volume of output (I'm trying to make simple patches for wind controller).

When using "breath" in matrix to control "tyrell -> osc1 volume" it works as expected but matrix doesn't have enough space to control other oscs too that way. And when I use "breath" to control "voicemix -> volume" it doesn't seem to start from the bottom but jumps straight to half volume.

It might be useful to have controls for multiple parameters at once, like all osc volumes at one go or so. Or maybe different targets could be enabled/disabled from the drop down list?
