It should be fixed, my patient friends, however, this was a VERY-VERY-last-minute change and I#m not sure if its fully ok, please let me know, version 5.0.6 is out.

hooray! I was concerned that they would not bother getting back to you after I re-raised the ticket. now for testing

I hope this fixes the 'RMV crashes all hosts' problem I had too!

As I wrote, version 5.0.6 of RMV is expected to fix this, it looks ok here, if not for you, please let me know

My testing of 506 has not proved successful so far - I will perform a clean install, again, but is it possible for the installer to not delete all the Library contents? Earlier attempts to test 506 resulted in me having to restore the library from TimeMachine and this is not the ideal.

Just for the record, installing an instrument update doesnt affect the installed library. Glad its working for you now!

Sure - Looking back at my actions, I think it was the removal of the RMV505 items from/library/audio/.. which deleted the library.
