the mouse wheel was used to tune the parameters and as I remember it worked with the very first (effect) version of Tyrell.
Will it be there in the next update? :)

Note: this may be a bug from my side though but I doubt that because Zebra and ACE are working fine.
works fine here. windows

Are there any Tyrell manual in english? I am little confused with these modulations.

I guess there isn't a manual for the moment.
What seems to be confusing, the modulation matrix?

I just don't understand routing between components. What goes where. Seems like the modulation matrix there just for that.

Well don't really know how to explain as Tyrell seemed very familiar to me at first sight.

Maybe this is the problem...
No effect when you try to assing something to LFO1. Let's try to modulate the filter avoiding the matrix section down-center.
As default, the filter Mod2 is assigned to LFO1. LFO1 has it's mod depth set to 100 ... try setting it to 0.

... spending a little time tweaking the synth will hopefully get you going before the manual.

Excellent. Just out of curiosity: was it only on the Windows side of things?

Tyrell crashes when running inside host without admin rights. Any solution to this?

Run with Admin rights.

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

Nope, it was on both. The filter has a very tricky routing internally and I didn't catch this one :dog:

The controller matrix needs a better explanation. It's not easy to understand the meaning of "core matrix" and "via" for the next knob in the row.
For using velocity to control the volume, I set the first knobs controller to "velocity" and leave the next knob ("via") untouched.

While testing more with the velocity settings needed for a rolling bass, I build this small snippet ;)

Lovely new patches also.
Thanks, 3ee, love yours as well! Very playable.
Here's an updated set of now 39 patches for Tyrell, if anyone's interested:

39 Patches for Tyrell

Maybe someone can collect all the available user patches in one place, if someone has the time? I wouldn't want to miss the cool stuff people come up with.

Cheers,

The Coktor

Very nice, thanks a lot!
Hope that Urs will hand pick some of the best presets we've been sending for Tyrell N6's official release. :) that would be cool!
