I'm uber impressed with this SG, the only downside is several of my other guitars will struggle to get a look in now and will probably end up with For Sale signs on their cases :(
haha! I know that feeling.

Oh, and what is this bs of not providing pics :x :hihi:
Pics (such as they are )

And after seeing a few posts elsewhere wondering why their SG Standard body was made up of more than one piece, mine appears to be all one

RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

 cool! Kinda interesting the white case lining.

The case has a Made in Canada sticker on it and the interior isn't as grubby as it looks in the pic. I've got a slight quibble with it tho', when they say fitted they mean *exactly* that, the guitar has to be literally pushed in.

So damn sweet. I love that 60's pickguard, there was a picture of Pete Townsend windmilling away on one of those that always stuck with me when I was a kid. Come to think of it, of all the guitars that made an impression on me when I was young, I'd say that one and some weird 6-knob hollowbody that William Reid from The Jesus and Mary Chain played made the most.

I just don't ever remember any of my cases having that light/white a color. I guess it figures being canadian and all :hihi:

I've got some of 'dem dar cases around.......but I now just push them into a one of my closets and go this route.......

I throw a sheet over it when not in use

Best guitar tone I've ever heard in my entire life is PT at the isle of wright somewhere in the "magic buss" part where he is futzing around. Guess what guitar he was using ;)

Yeah, it's a truly lovely guitar Eric, one that covers way more bases than just rock :D :tu:

I can't say as I recall seeing a white interior on a Gibson case before, tho' in fairness I haven't seen that many.

The white colour helps you spot cats illegally taking a nap in there.
It was introduced on public request in the Les Paul forums, late 1973.
Unfortunately nature already starts to adapt.

when I read this first about Ian getting the sg my first thought was 'vurt's favorite guitar' :tu:

i need to sort some pups for my red one.
the white one needs a bridge.
the black one needs new strings
:hihi:

pickups require a bit of work and expense possible
bridge costs money, requires intonation and height adjustments (I'm guessing the white one went without strings for a while and the bridge got lost)
strings on a hardtail are changed in minutes

My guess is the black one ;)
