I still want a Tonebender fuzz for some of that early Jimmy Page goodness. After that, I want a Small Clone, and I want the harshness taken out of the Marshall sims.

That said, where are the new T-RackS vintage EQs and COMPs, Tube/Tape/Tranny and Preamp emulations, as well are one heavyweight Massive Passive-like Mastering EQ and Shadow Hills-like Mastering COMP.

Yeah I'm tired of hearing about the iphone crap, bring it to the PC. Seriously I am curious about the Fender thing, I have Amplitube Fender, so what is the new Fender supposed to be? A better sounding version? I am interested.

We definitely know there will be officially authorized Soldano SLO-100 and Orange Tiny Terror models through the new Custom Shop which is coming to AmpliTube 3, as revealed in this photo:

And we have a pretty good idea that the T-Rex pedals will be Mudhoney distortion and Replica delay from this photo:

But what about some of these other IK Partners?
Any guesses?
Some interesting pedals from Seymour Duncan.
Which ones are coming to AmpliTube?

The T-Rex Mudhoney is definetly an interesting pedal, it can do clean boost, overdrive, distortion and light but clear saturated fuzz. Those 3 knobs have a lot of range in them plus the boost button. Sounds great on a Vox/Matchless class A low wattage EL84 type amp.

Honestly though, AT Metal introduced so many distortion pedals that I'm getting a bit tired of them. The Guv'nor model in AT3 was a really welcome addition, but the only new distortion pedal model I want to see at this point is an MXR Distortion+. It is key to the tone of so many legendary guitarists, and is so sonically perfect that it doesn't even need a tone knob. Just by turning it on you know you are sure to get a classic tone.
I really want to see more chorus pedals, Boss CE-2 in particular, and others like that which bring interesting swirly sounds, like the Fulltone Choralflange. And of course a Hiwatt DR-103.
The one thing I'm concerned about here is with IK Multimedia establishing all of these partnerships, that they may start giving priority to gear based on partnership deals rather than demand, or possibly stop releasing unauthorized models completely. I don't think that would be the case, but I still worry about that possibility a little.

Very interesting! I'm not worried about the partnerships... they seem to be aligning themselves with all winners IMO. The may favor their new partners, but I can't see why they'd abandon the Vox and Marshall stuff... or any of it. That would be suicide. Plus, they seem like they genuinely dig making a large variety of different guitar simulation effects.

Yes, IK is definitely teaming up with winners. I'm looking forward to all these new models. I'd just feel more at ease if we got word about a Hiwatt.
One cool thing about the Custom Shop is that instead of waiting a whole year for a new edition of AmpliTube, we should instead be getting new models monthly as they become available!

Well, I will be watching for the models and price tags, this could be a very good thing. I think if IK can do some vocal options with iphone they should be able to do it for PC also. I would like to be able to get a Nuemann mic for my vocals from them.

Here's some interesting screen grabs from a 2011 NAMM video in Italian.
The Soldano SLO-100 and what appears to be the Orange cab reskinned should not come as any surprise.

But then there is this... notice the stomp in the middle...

"Nu-Tron III"

I found this one on YouTube, too.
It's nothing new, it seems.
Looks like IK have reskinned the OR-120 as well, now that Orange is an official IK partner. I wonder if they'll do the same with AT3's Fenders?

I'm interested in the pricing as well. I'm guessing things will get more expensive as part of the "authorized partner" deals, but if you're only buying one amp at a time, they still may be able to do that for very low prices.cliftone wrote:Well, I will be watching for the models and price tags, this could be a very good thing.
However, knowing IK, I wouldn't be surprised if the pricing structure will be too high up front, pissing everyone off. At which point, IK responds by releasing some crazy group buy or "buy one get 10 free" deal which pleases the masses while pissing off the customers who bought at full price nice and early.
