It's referring to 64 bit internal audio processing - not platform. Only Pro has that. x64 support is available for both versions though.mandolarian wrote:Is the Artist version available in x64? The Presonus comparo doc says no.
Pro is the only 64 bit version. Fact or Fiction?

I also jumped this deal, but how do I enable my wind controller (Akai EWI USB)? It seems when set as a keyboard S1 can't record breath CC and when set as a MIDI instrument S1 does not record notes.. How should I do this?

I would like to know the answer to this as well. It is not in the available software in my account. In the Artist menu there is a tab that asks what you would like to install, which includes Guitar Rig LE. It also lists a version of NI Kore Player that is 600 MBs,along with EZ drummer lite-180 MBs, and EZ drummer cocktail kit-200 MBs.Jazz Franco wrote:Sorry if this has been asked earlier, but where on earth am I to d/l Guitar Rig LE? The NI site only provides a demo of the full Guitar Rig (or so I understood it)
???
These all come on the DVD, which of course we do not have, as it is download only. But of course we did pay for them in the deal.
So where is our software Presonus ?

The Kore Player is freely downloadable from the NI website.
For EZDrummer Lite, gotta go to the Toontrack site, register an account (if you don't have one), then enter the provided serial and there you are! The download comes with cocktail kit. Everyhthing should be installed in "Vstplugins" dir within the Studio One folder (have to create it manually).
But the Guitar Rig is still nowhere to be found...

OK. I have downloaded Guitar Rig 4 Player and have replaced serial number in NI Service Center on serial of delivery S1. After that and has pressed button "Activate" (on first tab).Jazz Franco wrote: Here's what I get:This product requires activation!

erm.. and where did that get you? I suspect there's no way Guitar Rig 4 Player could register as Guitar Rig 3 LESteplton wrote:OK. Make a copy of the GR 4.dll (so you can still use it properly in other hosts in which it will appear as GR 4).
Rename the dll of guitar rig (change the 4 to a 3).
Now it should be recognized in Studio One artist.

It occurred to me just recently, because I've always had all the sound sets I didn't even think about it, but you don't actually need any of the sound sets to use the thing. With (if still?) the servers struggling to keep up with demand and for some with slower download speeds, unless you just need to hear the factory soundsets right now, do it later on after demand calms down a bit.
The actual instruments install with the main installer file I think, and all four instruments will work without the sound set download..
Mojito generates it own sound... Sample One doesn't have any presets in the bundle anyway (or at least afaict) so you'd use your own samples or files anyway ... Impact can similarly use any drum samples you have, files in any format that S1 can load, Rex, wave, whatever, and Presence is a soundfont player... just drop soundfonts on it to make some noise.
So unless you're chomping at the bit to hear the bundled PreSonus content in action ... you can just move on until the bandwidth isn't being so severely shared maybe and make some music, fiddle with the thing, anyway.
