Let's say I set up a patch with LfoG1 modulating OSC1 tune, and then, via the mod matrix, route Lfo1 to LfoG1 rate. What happens here? Are the per-voice values of Lfo1 summed to modulate the global LFO?

It's always the last voice taking over. If the last voice is released before any other, it's a bit of random as to which voice would be in charge from then on.
