o'really?

hm... this has got to be the first AD product that kinda leaves me cold. A very simple additive synth, with a delay and some LFO routing. Granted, I've never played the alphaSyntauri, but what does Phosphor have that you can't get with any old additive synth and a bitcrusher/samplerate reducer?

There's got to be some kind of secret here, I jes know it.... someone clue me in?

They seem to be alternating retro sounds, like tattoo, with more innovative ones like axon. Must be retro's turn.

I think this one needs a lot more audio demos to show why it is not like a lot of other additive synths out there.

No demo, no go...
Introductory price is always welcome.
Sorry and thanks!

The attraction is mainly the lofi-ness of it. It's also not yet another VA. Which is a plus.

The downside is that it's usually frickin' hard to coax more than a few sounds out of an additive that don't sound glassy or lifeless. I'm tempted to give it a whirl though (although I may wind up using the refund option).

The no demo stance may fly for effects , but on instruments it's a bit daft , as are synth demos that completely time out .....

I've had synths that took some time grow on me or that I rediscovered ,and even with stupid drop outs , I could listen again and was eventually sold .

30 days is fine to decide if an effect can do what you want , but synths are allot more abstract ......

But thats AD for ya ; DIFFERENT 8)
Financial solvency and KVR Mix as well as oil and water.

I will tell you what. if you buy Axon, Phosphor, then you can easily make perfect music. The less is more. All other stuff is effect processing.

Yes but you need premium coffee and divine weeds too! :hihi:
Btw have you already play with it?

 ironic?

their demo tracks always make me feel like I am a no-talent.
they take these simple tools which I have completely overlooked for lack of bells and whistles and make music which is better than what I tend to make with 10 times the instruments. :(
