Waveshell7.1 problem

Hello!

After installing the Waves shell v7 I keep getting the following "alert" when opening Cantabile:
"WaveShell-VST is not compatible with current application.
WaveShell-VST and the Waves Plugins can only run in applications that support VST shell Plugins (kPlugCategShell)."
The waveshell7.1 gets automatically in the exclude list, however it keeps loading when opening Cantabile and gives the above alert.

I use shell2vst to convert the shell to individual plugins and they work fine in Cantabile. But the problem is that Cantabile always scans the VST folder where I have put the individual plugins, when it opens.

So, each time I open Cantabile, I have to click OK to the alert about the waveshell and have to wait 1-2minutes for all the Waves plugins to initialize, which is frustrating.

Is there any way to avoid this? (do not tell me not to use the plugins with Cantabile please!) Would it be too much of work to make Cantabile support vst shells?

I recommend trying to contact Brad from Topten Software.

There is a list where Cantabile controls several aspects of plugins and where certain special behavior can be controlled. Lately a problem with bank/patch incompatibilities in "OP-X Pro II" could be solved this way.

However if there is an option to solve your specific issue, only Brad will know what commands to enter in this file...
