The Soldano SLO-100 and what appears to be the Orange cab reskinned should not come as any surprise.

But then there is this... notice the stomp in the middle...

Those pics suggest the interface has not been redesigned. X-Gear came with a heavy RAM hit for 32bit systems. AT3 bumped it up even further to 250MB / Instance. The same interface with even more AMPS than before can only mean an even higher RAM hit.

One positive note though, a Mutron III was requested and its there.

I REFUSE TO BE HAPPY!

Just kidding. Can't wait for you guys to do something new besides iCrap.

Was the buyer located in Modena, Italy?
If so, maybe you're in luck...

BTW, that would certainly be ...novel... to have a 12-bit digital effect in the middle of your 32-bit signal path!

I'm interested in the pricing as well. I'm guessing things will get more expensive as part of the "authorized partner" deals, but if you're only buying one amp at a time, they still may be able to do that for very low prices.

However, knowing IK, I wouldn't be surprised if the pricing structure will be too high up front, pissing everyone off. At which point, IK responds by releasing some crazy group buy or "buy one get 10 free" deal which pleases the masses while pissing off the customers who bought at full price nice and early.
Partnership probably makes it tougher to be wild and fluctuate the prices, etc - I am not psychic though so I suppose they (partners) could be friendly to it but do you really think so? Though I don't really want to debate the price thing as early adopters get time to actually use the software for that much longer but that apparently doesn't factor into value here for some reason. On top of that, things like AmpliTube 3 (especially with the upgrade price) weren't all that expensive IMO so I guess I just don't see it.

Andy Marshall is kinda a personal hero of mine so THD =

In fact a friend (who you know, Peter) passed along a personal thanks to Andy for his work. I can carry my THD around no problem, it's about the only "real amp" that I can do so with. It is practically indestructible and sounds like angels singing into my ears, takes pedals extremely well, just all-around happy maker.

Any comment on Overloud TH2 having authorized THD models as well? I am super, super curious what's going on there. Are you guys and THD exclusive from here on out?

I know you guys are talking about new versions of amplitube. But please allow me to ask one question since I could not find a better place to ask.

Does Amplitube2/Jimi/Metal/Ampeg work with Windows7 64bit?
(I'm still stuck with old ones)

I want to know if they work in Stand-Alone mode. And if I'm not mistaken, they work on 32bit DAWs on 64bit W7, right?

I'm thinking about leaving XP and go to W7, but I could not test it with Virtual PC since it's 64bit.

Thank you.

They fire up and work here on Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks!

I tried with VMware Player, and hooked up stealthplug. Amplitube2 started but when I was changing sample rate, it crashed, gave me a blue screen.

Now I am having a hard time srarting up W7-64. Maybe all because of the virtual environment.

I'm so amazed at how many amazing models come with Amplitube 3... when coupled with Fender and SVX (I've even been known to use SVX bass sims on guitar) it's literally a virtual guitar toyland.

However... ;)

There's one pretty glaring hole IMO:

It's always nice when Robert Keeley himself personally comments/compliments and gives you :tu: on my/your/"your(Amplitube's)" tone. :D  :D :o :D :-o

Hearing about them is cool...
...But hearing them in action is amazing! :-o

No set release date yet, but it won't be too much longer.
