That's some awesome production right there! What are you using for the drums? You have a really nice snare drum tone that fits in well.

Thanks Greg!
It's actually Addictive Drums. This time I think I managed to process the drums the way I wanted them to sound like.

Hi,
I have made a demo song using Orange Tree instruments:
http://soundcloud.com/sebech/free-money-instrumental
There are 2 Evolution Electric guitars: the rhythm guitar in the very left and the lower sounding lead guitar which actually substitutes vocals.
The bass used is Core Bass Cherry (fingered).

Cool, thanks for posting this! I love those sustained notes with vibrato at the end. Which guitar library is that lead strat--Prominy?
I can't wait to hear it with the vocals recorded!

In the EEG lead I used mostly 'half palm mute' and 'palm mute' and those few sustains at the ends. Amp used: Tech 21 SansAmp PSA (real analog thing).Gregjazz wrote:Cool, thanks for posting this! I love those sustained notes with vibrato at the end. Which guitar library is that lead strat--Prominy?

The lead strat is RealStrat - I used many 'bends' and 'slides', and the right channel rhythm is RealLPC, both from MusicLab.

Greg,
is there a way to increase the volume of certain articulation only? I mean the palm mute notes which are still a bit too silent compared to other articulations (used in my track) although having maximum velocity. I know more compression would help, but anyway...

I'm not sure if you would be able to turn up the palm mutes any more, without clipping, since they're already normalized. Maybe I should add in an articulation volume control for the new engine, though.

Hey, I'm just so excited that I've been able to implement the features I dreamed of years ago, using Kontakt's powerful scripting engine! I don't think I could ever go back to developing traditional sample libraries.
