possible bug with CLS?

hi there, i'm using the CLS AU plugin version 3.1.2 hosted in Bidule on a macbook pro running 10.6
when i switch the plugin from processing mode to bypass and then back to processing mode (via midi), i get no audio, because the three "drones" turn themselves off. the knobs don't move, but i have to reset them to "on" by turning them off and on again
is there a workaround (i really need to bypass the plugin when i'm not using it to save on CPU), or is this a bug that needs fixing?
many thanks
simeon
ps - i get the same behaviour with the VST version as well

I'll check. Sounds like something that ought to work.
Workaround - turn off the drones, rather than bypassing the plug-in. If the plug-in isn't producing any audio, CPU load should be very low indeed.

Is this the effect or instrument version of the plug-in?

Found the problem - Bidule, for some reason, is sending a MIDI 'All Notes Off' message just before switching the plug-in to Bypass (not something other hosts do). It seems I'm not handling that correctly in terms of what happens to the drones. I'll fix it and release an update.

Pretty sure I've fixed the issue at hand, but please check I've not broken anything else.

hi os, there seems to be a slight problem with this new version. sometimes when i go from processing to mute mode and then back again, i get a massively loud burst of audio from the plugin, as if it's dumping everything in the buffer. it's pretty horrendous. even if i turn feedback to zero and let all the audio die and turn the drone levels to zero, i still get a massive burst of noise when i go back to processing mode. weird.
could you have a look for me?
many thanks

yes, that's the one. the problem is, it doesn't do it all the time and i can't figure out why. if i could give you a series of actions to replicate the problem, it would make your life much easier i'm sure...!
