Hi all,
Is there an iPad/iPhone app that allows you to enter a chord progression in a list and then hear what it sounds like?
I've found various circle of fifths apps that let's me play in realtime (no list) but they don't include sevenths or diminished chords - which I need.

Check out Chordbot too, I use that even more than ProChords. Has lots of different "playing styles" so you can hear your progression played. And an automatic basic "song generator" to get chord progression ideas. And a good MIDI export so you can tweak the "played" chords in your DAW.auricle wrote:Hi all,

+1 for chordbot.. it's pretty cool
also the realbook app is cool as it has a thousand jazz standards and the ability to make your own chord sequences and it'll play it back.. similar to 'band in a box' - good for practice!

ProChords looks awesome, I'm gonna have to check that out for sketching out chord progressions.

The Band In A Box app also does it, as well as piping your song to your main computer (if you have BIAB 2011.5). It doesn't run directly in Cubase, but they have drag-and-drop of basically any generated track to an external DAW.Ross21 wrote:Chordbot is a very nice tool indeed.
I'm looking for something similar for a Windows7+Cubase running machine. Is there such a utility?
Thanks,
